Terms of Service
The application
The Secret Systems application is provided to businesses that are clients of Secret Systems. It gives you a dashboard for your website, leads, search performance, requests and billing, and, where included in your plan, a CRM and Content Studio. Access is by invitation to the email address you gave us during onboarding.
Accounts and people
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details and devices secure and for the people you add to your business. An owner or admin may add and remove team members and choose their roles; members can create and update records but not delete them. Tell us promptly at info@secretsystems.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
Your data
You own the business records, leads, CRM data, photos, videos and content you put into the application. You grant us the permission needed to host, process, back up and display it for you, and to use it to provide the services you have purchased. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it, including Google Search Console data you choose to connect.
Google Search Console connection
Connecting Search Console is optional. When you connect, you authorise us to read search analytics for the property you select (and to submit sitemaps if you asked for that) so we can show and improve your website's search performance. You can revoke that access at any time from your Google Account; revocation does not affect the rest of the application.
Acceptable use
Do not use the application to store or send unlawful, infringing or harmful content, to attempt to access another client's data, to interfere with the service, or to reverse-engineer it. Leads and contact details collected through your website must be used in line with the law that applies to you.
Modules, plans and changes
Modules appear in the application according to your plan. When a plan lapses, access to that module is suspended after any grace period, but your data is kept and can be exported or deleted on request. We may improve or change features; we will not remove a paid feature without notice.
Billing
Fees, renewals and refunds are set out in your order and handled through Stripe. Invoices and subscription status are shown in the Billing area of the application.
Availability and support
We aim for the application to be available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Support is available at info@secretsystems.io. Secret Systems staff may view your workspace for support; every such view is recorded.
Intellectual property
The application, its design and code belong to Secret Systems. Your content stays yours. Client websites are governed by your website agreement.
Termination
You may stop using the application at any time and ask us to delete your account and data. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms, non-payment or legal reasons, after notice where practical.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the application is provided “as is”, and our total liability for claims connected with it is limited to the fees you paid for the affected service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We will post updates here and change the effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
